Rogers Streets Need You Now More Than Ever!

April 8, 2026 1 min read

Rogers has been bypassed by the highway – and as a result, sales tax revenue has dropped by 33%. That makes Proposition A more critical than ever. The City of Rogers currently has a .25% sales tax that funds maintenance on City roads. State law requires that street maintenance taxes be renewed every four years or else they expire. The Rogers Street maintenance tax passed four years ago and is on the ballot for renewal in the May 2, 2026 election.

A vote in favor of the street maintenance tax will keep the tax the same as it is now. A vote against the street maintenance tax will end the tax and reduce street maintenance funding.
