Current Projects
Texas Parks & Wildlife Grant: Allison Park
The City continues to move forward with the Texas Parks and Wildlife grant project that will help transform Allison Park into an improved community space. The project is currently scheduled for completion by April 30, 2029.
As part of the grant requirements, the City is working to secure $150,000 in matching funds through donations and community support. These contributions will play an important role in helping bring the Allison Park improvements to completion.
City of Rogers & Bell County Road Repair Project
The City is coordinating with Bell County to complete approximately 19,000 feet of road repairs. This work will be completed once Bell County is able to place the project on their schedule.
Because the timeline depends on Bell County’s crew availability, the City does not have a confirmed start date at this time. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
TDHCA Grant Homes
The City is currently working through a Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs grant that will support the construction of four new homes within the city.
These homes are expected to help expand local housing opportunities and support continued community growth. Additional updates will be shared as the project moves forward.
SS4A Grant
The City is still in the planning phase for the SS4A grant project. At this time, there is not a confirmed timeline for when the project will move forward.

Reeds Lake Road Project
The Reeds Lake Road project has recently been completed.
Upcoming Work
Water Infrastructure Renovation
The City is currently in the planning phase for a major water infrastructure renovation project, estimated at approximately $2 million.
At this stage, the City is working to identify and plan the specific areas that will be renovated. Based on the information provided so far, the project is not expected to go out for bid until spring 2027.
Most of the work is expected to take place from the Hunt Hill area out toward Neroc. The project is also expected to include water line size increases in the Thomas Street and North 2184 areas.
Additional updates will be provided as planning continues and more details become available.
MDD Granting Opportunities
The City expects to begin offering grant opportunities through the Municipal Development District soon.
More information and timelines will be shared as the program is finalized.
